Poor plants are suffering from this cold spell, especially if they have started to grow. I think there will be a lot of damage this spring : ( and a tree fern that we planted may not survive.
The ground is going to take more time to warm up but the sun is getting stronger and will soon melt the snow and things will start germinating once its above 6 c ground temp. then get sowing!
